Cherylyn Vanzuela ist freiberufliche Fotografin aus Köln. Auf Grund ihrer philippinischen Wurzeln hat die Taifun-Katastrophe, die am 11.08.2013 auf den Philippinen wütete und zahlreiche Opfer forderte, sie sehr getroffen. Nachdem nach kurzer Zeit die Medien nicht mehr davon der Katastrophe berichteten, war ihr bestreben zu erfahren, wie es den dort Menschen nach 3 Monaten geht. Kurzer Hand hat sie einen Journalisten mit gleichen bestreben gesucht und mit großem Glück Lizzy Geble aus Bonn gefunden, die sich bereit erklärt hat diese Auslandsreportage mit Text, Bewegtbild und Audio zu begleiten. Lizzy Geble ist kurz vor ihrem Journalismusstudiumabschluss und hat zuvor zahlreiche Auslandsprojekte u.a. in Asien gemacht.
Cherylyn Vanzuela is a freelance photographer from Cologne. Due to her Filipino family backround , she was very shaken by the typhoon disaster that raged on 11.08.2013 in the Philippines and the numerous casualties it took.
After a short time the media stopped reporting about the disaster and her endeavor was to find out how the local people have delt with their tragedy. Without further ado, she sought a journalist with the same endeavor and has found Lizzy Geble from Bonn who agreed to accompany these foreign report with text, moving image and audio with great pleasure. Lizzy Geble is is close to graduate her journalism studies and has worked in numerous international projects, which some took place in Asia.
